About Me

I’m a French-trained psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience supporting young people and their families. My journey in medicine began with a love for listening and caring, an openness to talking without judgment about human challenges, and a deep curiosity about psychology, the brain, and human development. I’m especially drawn to understanding how we function, grow, adapt, and find ways to live a fulfilling life. I strive to be respectful and genuinely useful to each person I have the privilege to support.

In addition to my medical degree, I hold a Master’s in Neuroscience, and I studied brain connectivity in children with autism spectrum conditions at the INSERM-CEA research unit U797, known for its pioneering work at the intersection of neuroimaging and psychiatric research. I worked under the direction of Monica Zilbovicius, recognized for her trailblazing research in the neuroimaging of developmental disorders, especially autism. I’m passionate about science, understanding, and evidence-based approaches.

For over a decade, I practiced in an academic hospital setting in France (Robert Debré Hospital in Paris), caring for children and teens facing challenges such as eating disorders, anxiety, mood difficulties, and neurodevelopmental conditions. From 2012 to 2019, I served as medical director of a center for early-onset anorexia nervosa, which was formally recognized as a center of reference under my leadership.

After moving to the Bay Area in 2019, I became the Wellness Coordinator at the Lycée Français de San Francisco, where I supported middle and high school students and their families for three years. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of prevention, education, and trusted relationships to support mental health in non-clinical settings. I loved helping students build resilience, supporting parents in real time, teaching about wellness and health, and creating space for pragmatic and realistic conversations about well-being.

I’m the author of several books published by Éditions Nathan, a leading French publisher of educational materials and children's books, including titles for both parents and tweens. I also collaborate with the Center for Scholars and Storytellers at UCLA to promote respectful, nuanced representations of adolescence and amplify teen voices in media and storytelling. As a Be Real Ambassador, I advocate for authenticity, body confidence, and mental wellness among youth.

My Approach

Today, I bring this rich background into private practice, offering non-clinical support through coaching, education and care navigation. My approach blends clinical insight, scientific knowledge, and educational expertise with a compassionate, person-centered and family-centered lens. I work in both French and English, tailoring support to meet each family exactly where they are.

I believe every family and every person deserves a space to feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions with clarity and confidence. Think of me as someone who walks beside you—not to take over, , not to "optimize" you, but to help you find your footing, your voice, and a path that truly works for you, in a gentle, non-perfectionist way.

I specialize in neuroaffirming care and believe deeply in empowering you with accessible, evidence-informed tools, along with compassionate, warm, and non-judgmental support.

I am also a certified ADHDworks Coach, and my theoretical background includes training in evidence-based approaches such as Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Collaborative Problem Solving. I draw from these frameworks and my professional experience to provide coaching with practical tools and strategies that promote sustainable personal fulfillment and well-being.

Please note that I do not offer psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment, as I am not a licensed mental health professional in the U.S. My services are best described as coaching, education, and skills-building support, informed by my medical and psychiatric training in France and ongoing professional development in the U.S.

A Bit More About Me

I’m married to a wonderful physician and the proud mother of three children - ages 15, 12, and 9. I’m also a daughter, sister, friend, AuDHDer, mental health advocate, and public speaker. I’ve been invited to give interviews on topics including neurodiversity, neurosciences, and eating disorders, and to lead workshops on adolescence and health/wellness.

In my spare time, I love being with my family - including our dog, Skye, and our cat, Tigrou - reading, listening to podcasts, doing quiet crafts, cooking, and hiking. I’m a trained yoga and mindfulness instructor.
